Hamburg City Walk with Inga
The town hall "Rathaus" is the starting point of our Hamburg City Walk

Meeting Point: Town hall Rathaus, main entrance at 4:30 p.m.

(we will be around 7:00 at the check in at the Schule Lutterrothstraße)
Cost: we will need a ticket for the public bus transport.

We will see classical sightseeing point. We start our tour at the town hall /Rathaus, visit the "Binnenalster" lake, branching off "Jungfernstieg" street and bordering the channel "Kleine Alster".

But we will have a second barycentric the real story of the swing kids from 1930-1950.

In 1933 the Nazi dictator start in Germany. Many of the Swing dancers know the drama “Swing kids” from T. Carter (1993). Set in 1939, where Nazi Germany have waged war on freedom and demand that young people conform. However a group, known as Swing Kids rebel against this by bringing 'swing' music from America. Two friends find themselves torn between their loyalty to the Third Reich and their need to for freedom. The movie based on true stories about Hamburg. We will visit same original point of the swing kids.
